Why We’re Building This
Behind every meal is a story.
A restaurant owner working late to keep their doors open. A small food business trying to compete with companies many times its size. A delivery driver spending their evenings on the road to support their family. A customer ordering their favourite meal after a long day.
Food brings all of these people together.
At Pymbox, we believe that now more than ever, we need to find ways to support one another. Small businesses and independent workers are an important part of our communities, but they don’t always have the same resources, support, or buying power as larger companies.
That’s why we’re building Pymbox.
Our vision is to create a platform that brings together the people behind Canada’s food-service and delivery community — while helping showcase the small businesses and workers who make our communities what they are.
Our Mission
Pymbox started from something personal.
I’m a growing family man, preparing to welcome a newborn daughter into our home. Like many families, we’re thinking about the future, working hard, and trying to build something meaningful for the people we care about.
Along the way, I’ve also spent time doing gig driving on the side. Sometimes it was simply because I needed the extra income. But there was another side to it that I enjoyed: bringing food to people.
There’s something meaningful about being part of that connection.
We eat together. We celebrate with food. We order from our favourite restaurants. We gather around food courts, cafés, takeout counters, and dining tables. Food has always been a universal part of how we connect with one another.
And behind all of that are real people.
Our mission is to build a platform that helps small food-service businesses and independent workers put their best foot forward — with practical tools, useful products, resources, and a community that understands the challenges they face.
We’re not trying to be everything to everyone.
We’re trying to be a helping hand.

Not every business has a large team, warehouse, marketing department, or unlimited budget. We want to build with the realities of small business in mind.

Businesses aren’t just logos and storefronts. They’re people, families, dreams, and stories. We want to help tell those stories.

Meet Vince
Hi, I’m Vince.
Like many people, I’m just a city guy doing my best to contribute to my community while building a future for my family.
I’ve worked in digital and web operations for years, and I’ve also spent time doing gig driving on the side. I’ve experienced both sides of the food-delivery world — working behind a computer and being out on the road delivering food to people.
That experience helped shape the idea behind Pymbox.
I don’t pretend to have all the answers, and Pymbox isn’t being built from the perspective that we do.
It’s being built from the perspective of someone who sees an opportunity to help.
There are countless small businesses and independent workers working hard every day. We want to create something that recognizes that work, tells their stories, and gives them another resource they can turn to.
